Brits and Canadians. If you had the chance..?

Would you give up your National Health Plans in favor of US style Private Insurance?
Answer:
No way, I paid into the NHS all my working life, I~m buggered if ill give it up when i need it.
Also we hear horror stories of Americans tied to a job just for the health insurance, or being asked when they are brought in by ambulance suffering from gunshot wounds or car crash injuries which company they are insured by , YUK, that is the wild west!

No I wouldnt but it does have its drawbacks. Long line ups and waiting for necessary operations but other then that its great.
