Can their be symptoms from family deaf?

Answer:
Do you mean can you have symptoms of deafness from a family history of deafness. If you do yes. It is very likely that you could be hard of hearing, or deaf in one ear from a family history of deafness.
If you mean can deafness be passed down from family member to family member the answer is yes. My husband's father is deaf in one ear and so is my husband and his nephew. It skipped his sister's family all together.
There are many forms of genetic problems that have deafness as major symptom. So yes it can be hereditary.

Can sun poisoning occur days later?

If someone got a really bad sunburn three days ago, and is now shaking and getting the chills, could that be sun poisioning, or is it something different?
Answer:
That's about the time frame when I started experiencing sun poisoning. My upper back was sunburned, and it started itching like none other out of nowhere, for 2 days in a row, right around 4 in the afternoon. It was so bad that I had to put ice on it to numb it so I couldn't feel it. After those 2 days, I never had any problems again.So... my answer is yes.
more and likely sun poisoning.the bigger problem will be down the road, say 10 - 20 years all that sun you get now will take the toll on your body later...you'll be in the doctors office having the liasons frozen, cut or even have to have surgery...I know, I've had all three done several times.right now ...the doctor considered me a threat as to I have skin cancer...Not to be outside most of the day...sucks...I'm an outdoor type of person...plus I have 5.5 acres of grass to cut...can't do it a night...have fun and stay safe
cold water is the best first aid when you burn yourself - 20 minutes under the tap is ideal. NEVER ice or vinegar or milk or butter or green tea or mustard or toothpaste or sunscreen or semen or vaseline or tomatoes or vanilla extract or yogurt or sour cream or egg white or lavender oil or cocoa butter or salt or tea bags or potato or shaving cream or olive oil or baking soda or banana peel or petroleum jelly or whipped cream or avocado or bacon grease or corn starch or tumeric or lemon juice or curd or pickle juice - not until the skin is fully healed!alcohol might help with the pain but it is a serious risk as it will dehydrate you - so don't drink any. ibuprofen or aspirin will help but larger burns are often accompanied by stomach ulcers, so tylenol/panadol is best for pain if you are gonna tough it out. drink plenty of water or energy drinks that don't have caffeine (gatorade) i would advise that you cover the burnt area with white soft paraffin (white petroleum) or aqueous cream bp. (check the links below and see if you can find a local equivalent). wash the burn and reapply every 4-6 hours - cover with cling wrap if you wish to cover with clothes - this will stop your clothes getting covered with paraffin and maintains the burn.cling wrap alone is ok if you can't get hold of any paraffin. it also acts as a protective artificial skin - helping retain moisture and protect from further damage and pain. cling wrap is cheap and clean off the roll. in Australia ambulances often use this when someone has been burnt. - please note that cling wrap isn't always practical, like on your face.the paraffin imitates the natural oils, creating a seal stopping water leaving the body and reduces pain by protecting sensitised nerves. both of these factors improve healing - good stuff stays in, bad stays out - that is one job of healthy skin. aloe is good coz it remoisturises but that moisture can be quickly lost as the skin can't contain fluids. so put aloe on, and then the paraffin on over the top. if there is broken skin leave out the aloe - just paraffin.http://www.doorone.com.au/xgs-aqueous_cr...http://www.pharmacyonline.com.au/david-c...http://www.cvs.com/cvsapp/cvs/gateway/de...email if you still have questions - send photos feedingthedogcustard@hotmail.c...finally if you are really worried go to a hospital that has a burns unit or plastic surgeons. serious sunburn i.e. blisters (and all other burns) should be seen by a burns trained doctor or nurse.

Can stress make u physically ill?? Prefer doctors or experienced people to answer?

I ask because I've been sick for maybe 6 months (like really dizzy/tired (sleeping 15 hrs sometimes a day and falling asleep anytime i sit down), headaches, diareah and cramps (especially after eatting) also bad muscle aches.. When I get like that It feels JUST like my period and it hurts so bad... some foods seem to trigger more than others but its not any type specifically. If I only eat fresh veggies/fruits/whole grains I dont get as sick. My doctor said nothing is wrong! I know ive been stressed out bad, everyday for like 2+ years...could that be causing all that?
Answer:
Stress can definitely contribute to the symptoms you have described. Aches %26 pains and bowel disturbances have a direct influence from your emotional states.Stress releases your "fight-and-flight" hormones which can trigger of a variety of symptoms in different parts of your body. Stress can also result in lack of sleep, which, understandably, lead to daytime somnolence. One way of checking if stress is your culprit is to try stress-reduction or relaxation exercises. These are simple and can be tried in the comfort of your own home. Also cut down on your nicotene and caffeine intake, that should help as well.If your symptoms continue, see your doctor again...pester them!
stress can make you physically and emotionally sick the emotional sickness can lead to the physical sickness you should see someone sounds to me that you may be battleing depresstion
Yes, stress can cause physical symptoms. I get severe heartburn/ acid reflux, enough to need prescription medication, during periods of prolonged stressful situations. If your doctor says that nothing is physically wrong, then try seeing a professional counselor. Counsellors are trained to help "normal" people (defined as not diagnosed with a mental illness that should be treated by a psychiatrist or psychologist) through difficult times in their lives. Many counsellors are trained to help people learn how to manage stress and mitigate it where possible.
stress can do some really crazy things to our system. Yes, all the symptoms you named, could be related to stress. Or not.
I'd check with another doc for a second opinion. Insisst on some simple lab work. Then, if no other causes are found, start walking for 30 minutes every morning or evening. Force yourself!! excercise has been found to be the number one way to relieve stress (and it's good for you). Second, start eating better. Your diet plays an important role in your health. Try treating symptoms one at a time. Ibuprophen for the aches ( but don't over do it ) a hot bath to relax you.start on some benefiber to get your bowels under control. And figure out what your stressers are, and work to eleviate them. Get a hobby that you enjoy, whether it's reading, jogging, swimming, horseback riding, cars, whatever. Just do SOMETHING!! for yourself.
Good luck
yes stress can do these things to you and i could be the case..but it sounds alot like what i have been going through the last year and a half. i get dizzy, lightheaded, sick, cramps, tired..my doctor ran blood tests on everything; iron, glucose, b12, liver, kidneys, lungs, EVERYTHING! HAVE THEM CHEAK THESE TOO!!my specialist said depression! they palm it off to easily and you need to see a different doctor! im seeing a new one and i have had a ct scan and heart monitor. my tests are yet to come back but we think i miss a heart beat sometimes! plz get it cheaked out plz!!

Can stress give you tension aches in back of neck?

have been having this achy feeling in my head...what can it be? it's like a pressure
Answer:
Yes, that's a very common reaction to stress.
It's really amazing what stress can do to your body. That achy feeling is probably related to stress. I get headaches body ache and just plain old sick. Finding a way to relieve stress will be really helpful.I sometimes do yoga or just some deep breathing exercises. Exercise does wonders as well.
It sure can. In fact, when my mother starts to get a tension headache- or a migraine triggered by stress- I have to start by rubbing her feet and working up to more or less push the pain out- for lack of a better way to describe it. And I have to spend a lot of time relaxing her shoulders, neck, and scalp.
Stress is a culprit in causes of various aliments, pain and migrain, back ache, nausea, loss or gain of weight, hormone upsets to name but a few.
Yes stress can most certainly be the cause of the ache in the back of the neck, as can posture, lack of water intake, and going in front of the computer for long periods without a break.
I would recommend you seek alternative help from either a doctor to state wheather it is most likely caused from one of the above before seeing what can be done in alleviating this discomfort.
Stress has a way of affecting our lives. It would create symptoms like headache, pain in the neck and in the back. But stress may not be the only cause of such pain. There are a number of diseases or health disorders that may be causing the pain (such as fibromyalgia, tension headache, back injury due to bad posture, etc.). It is best that you consult your doctor for this if the pain persists.

Can someone's voice become more coarse because of yelling?

I hate to yell.Last week I had a strong argument with my mother and I so infuriated, that I yelled as loudly as I could for an instant. Now, my voice is coarse.
It hurt me the day after, but while it doesn't hurt anymore, it is really coarse. Will it stay like this?Does yelling damage your voice?
Answer:
YES !! It can most definitely hurt your voice, but the good news is your voice will return to its normal self if u do not continue to scream.I do believe one can do permanent damage if continuous shouting were to take place.I am sure u have heard of singers who take great pains to take care of their voices.Over time some peoples voices can change by smoking and perhaps shouting, among other things. However doesnt God work in mysterious ways, that is what u get for yelling at Mom-maybe next time u feel angry...
haha itll go back to normal =)
I have had that happen myself. It will usually get better over time. If it does not, have your doctor check your throat to see that there is nothing serious going on. In the meantime, drink plenty of fluids which will help keep your throat moist.

Can someone with a torn cartalige in the knee ever run again?

I tore the cartalige in my knee 6 months ago and I still can not go down stairs or run.
Answer:
i sure hope so
you need to have surgery to repare it then rehab/pt to get you back up to speed.
Yes you can. Eventually it should heal or it may require surgery, and you should be able to run again.
possibly with meds an tylnol and a special $300 knee brace happened to my gramps thars what he did
yup once your fully rehabilitated you can run again. Recovery time is usually one to two years and the physical therapist will likely require you to use a special brace to use during exercise. Warning: don't overexert yourself! Your knee will never be able to reach the potential it had before your injury and is markedly more delicate so don't be planning on a lot of full tackle football once you do recover.

Can someone tell me what this bite is from?

my sister got a bite on her thumb while gardening and shesays it looks like a black dot with white all around it. she didnt get a look at the bug that bit her but wants to know what it is any ideas?
Answer:
It could have been one of many insect or bug bites. The source below might provide some information to help you diagnose the type of bite.healthy-skincare.com/insect-bi...
sounds like a spider bite. get it checked out. you dont want infection.
it could be anything..I go for a spider bite
nope but id gogle it
mite b poisonous
more than likely some kind of spider. almost anything garden related is spider/snake related.
a deadly bite from a black widow spider. go to the hospital! RAPIDO!
spider bites tend to be white with puss with a black dot in the middle
Sounds like the deadly Bingbalow
it is most likely a spider bite. watch it.. if it starts to turn red, that means the toxin is spreading... taking benedryl should help reduce the swelling... but it is a good idea to have a doc take a look at it. if it is a venemous spider bite, she can get very very sick.
most likely a spider bite. get it looked at, it could be serious.
look here:http://www.badspiderbites.com/
I agree with the other answers. A bite or a sting. The black center is most likely a stinger left in her skin which will continue to leak venom. It could be a bee or spider of some sort. Put Cortaid on it and watch for continued signs of swelling. If there are any other symptoms like difficulty breathing or rapid heart rate, call 911.
i dont know but what i do know is that you're sis needs 2 go to a doctor ASAP!! iwish u and ur sis lots of luck!! :)
im a doctor myself id have to say it could be a insect or possibly a black widow if so get it checked out
This sounds like this is clearly the bite of the elusive devilian spindle spider. It lays in wait in cool damp places and attacks what ever comes close enough to be attacked or whoever is unlucky enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The symptoms are a black dot with a characteristic white patch surrounding it. Their is usually desensitization and anastasia's affecting the nervous system. The victim demonstrates diploplia and bradycadia initially then anaphalatic shock ensues. Typically the anus swells uncontrollable until sitting becomes impossible and the victims teeth begin to taste of sulfur until they drop out neatly one by one. Typically the bite is not fatal but getting a date later in life becomes nearly impossible. It sounds like that definitely or it could just be nothing...
possible a spider. keep it clean w/ rubbing alchol.
hiya whiskey i have too agree with the others i think it maybe a spider bite if it is a poison spider yes get her too emergency as quickliy as u can and have the doc take a very close look at it he may have some sort of toxin case that can take the bite away or he might have too treat it very carefully so do get her too a local hospital very quickly ok and thanks

Can someone tell me the signs that I am getting pink eye? Besides waking up with it?

My husband has pink eye and has had it since sunday. We are not in the same bed or room for much time since he got it, and I want to make sure that I dont have it. Anyone know the initial signs of pink eye besides waking up with crust on your eye? Also how long from the time that you get pink eye will symtoms show up?-Thanks
Answer:
a few days befor,it will be red .befor it turns red it feels bruise an it itches.
waking up and your eye is completely swollen shut with mucus.
Your eye gets swollen, itchy, dry, and red. Sometimes it is even a bit painful. Fortunately, pink eye doesn't last that long. (A week at most, I have only had it for three days). Make sure he applies a warm towel over his eyes with light pressure. Also, taking Benedryl helps clear it up in a few days. Towels should be washed and sheets because it is contagious. Good luck.

Can someone tell me if someone having pain in left side of body?

Answer:
I could if you finish the question.
I got it on the right - what's that about. LOL
Can you be more specific? Which area, organ, part or limbs ? Left side is from your head to toe. How does it pain, dull, or spasmodic? From any external injury, sprain, muscular, ...?

Can someone tell me about my bruise?

so on my wrist i have a bruise just notice it about 1hour ago um i had blood taken from my wrist on wed so could that be why its bruise ? im panicking abit am i dying
Answer:
It's probably from the blood being drawn. You're not dying (from that). Put some ice on it. . . . you'll be fine.
lol.. no your not dying... the bruising is normal.. so give it time to heal and quite worring...
That's probably what it's from. Many people have bruises after getting their blood taken.I doubt you're dying.Keep ice on it, and call your doctor just to double check, if you're still really worried.
I can tell you it is from the blood taken, and that you will be ok,
but you see, I am a Vet.

Can someone please explain this to me - Undocumented Aliens qualify for medical services in Texas?

"The Texas Department of Health and Human Services (HHSC) administers several programs which provide medical care for."Read #4 (under 'Introduction' on their website -- link below) and tell me if I'm understanding this right. Are illegal immigrants really receiving this? Or am I reading it wrong?
http://www.hhsc.state.tx.us/programs/tex...
Answer:
Unfortuantely thats exactally the way it is. The whole thing just makes me sick. I feel that not only should illegals be denied any and all assistance programs, but they should all be deported and permenantly disqualified from applying for American citizenship.
A good place to start is hospitals. Any illegal who presents themselves for treatment should be detained and deported by the Immigration Officers who would be stationed at every hospital. That includes pregnant illegals and their newborn children, trust me, no mother will leave her new baby behind .
However I still believe that anyone who wants to be here and goes through the legal process should be welcomed. But one strike and their are out forever!
They must do it right the first time or get used to Mexico.
probably. according to the school paperwork my son gets each year, their children are also entitled to free school breakfasts and lunches.
plus parents like myself provide them with their school supplies because the school requires each student bring 5 boxes of crayons, 8 bottles of glue, 6 folders (etc.) on the first day of school. And to "not put our child's name on any of the supplies because we "share" in this school"
all bull crap.
ETA: Sassy, it's the language "immersion" program. They start off the year with the teachers and students speaking 100% spanish and end the year with something like 40/60 English/Spanish. They are doing it at the primary school in our area. Encouraging parents of non-spanish speaking children to participate in it as young as Kindergarden! (which goes against the TEKS that states language programs aren't to start till 3/4th grade)They also say the Pledge in Spanish (after saying it in English) didn't tell the parents about it, when we found out and told our son not to say it in Spanish, he got in trouble for staying silent! When we spoke out against it our son was "selected" to attend another school in the district.
We are seriously considering private instruction for him.
Your not reading it wrong at all.
I myself try to get on my-child but did not qualify.
That's why I have to work a full time job. If it wasn't the help from my family my check would go directly to day care.
We need to tell our congressmen that enough is enough.
You're reading it right and it really disgusts me.
You read it right dear.
You had heard about the young woman who brought her baby to the hospital because the baby had a fever of 103 degrees - the hospital refused the baby any care. The young mother had HMO, and she was required to take her baby across town for treatment. Half way there, her baby died. The fever spiked. I believe they said to 106 degrees.
Would this have happened had she and her baby been here illegally.
Please don't ignore your rights. If you do, you may soon find out that you'll have no rights at all.
I heard that TX schools are now requiring all students to half their days classes taught in English, the other half WILL be taught in Spanish.
Odd, because before, students (and their parents) had to learn English. Oh! Wait.. they came here legally, to become United States citizens. They didn't come here illegally.
What part of illegal do some people NOT understand.
Yes, you read it right and it's not just Texas. There is also WIC and other programs they are allowed to access. We are paying for this...taxpayers and legal immigrants.
Another Bush policy I imagine. His "leave no illegal invader behind. American Taxpayers have it covered so it's all good". You know that Bush policy.

Can someone Help!?

Hi this might sound really silly but I have a lump not massive one but it is under the skin on my knee, I know for certain that i have not bumped my knee to cause a lump %26 it does not hurt. This has only been noticed within about a week. Could it be anything serious I do not want to seem paranoid? Never heard of serious lumps in the knee but am worrying a little.
Answer:
go see your doctor if you're worried so much. No, I don't think it's a biggie, but set up an appointment with him/her anyway.
It could be a cyst, which are usually nothing to worry about.Have it checked out by your doctor to be on the safe side.Good luck
A.D.
sounds like a cyst go to the doctors and get it checked out
it could be a nobule, or cyst, see your doctor for pain reliefe and put your mind to rest
Any lumps should be investigated by the medical profession. Go see your GP and get your mind put at rest.

Can someone help me with my eye?

Last night my eye felt like it got something in it, so i put a cool cloth on it. And it went back to normal. But then my other eye felt like this now and it bothered me so bad and i rubbed it alot, and it got watery and sore. Then when i woke up it wasnt all the way open and it is really swollen. It looks horrible. what can i do about my eye to get it back to normal? How long will it take? If i put a cold cloth on it and take a nap will it be better? Plzzz help!!!
Answer:
Sounds like an allergic reaction...a doctor would be the one to determine this of course.Instead of the COLD compresses I would suggest using Hot or Warm compresses.
I had my first "Sty" a couple of weeks ago and after checking around the internet, followed suggestions to apply a HOT compress frequently during the day...in about a day or two it was gone.btw...these are your EYES...don't mess with taking any chances that something seriously could be wrong. If you feel whatever you have is beyond the normal allergic reaction, get yourself to an Emergency Clinic or doctor right away!
It's best to see a doctor who can give you a real diagnosis and treatment.
You have irritated it and possibly caused some kind of damage...can't say having not seen your eye. You need to put ice in the cloth and if the swelling doesn't go down in an hour or so you may have to see a doctor. Don't wait too long if the swelling doesn't go down after a couple of hours of using cold cold compresses. You might want to see one anyway...what you describe could be symptoms of something that will require treatment.
Urgent Care!
you need to stop what you are doing and go to your doctor.Somethings forien that gets into the eye is un-
detectable.Example: I had a piece of plastic(clear)in my eye
that i couldn't see in the mirror.I had to go to my doctor and let him figure it out.
It sounds like you have an allergy to something. My sister had this problem for years, one eye, or both would just swell up all of a sudden and sometimes so badly she could barely see out of them. It is very embarassing, but after a while of cold compresses, they would go away. Finally she went to a doctor and discovered that she has an allergy to something, and sure enough, she would only get them when she would drink milk or have ice cream... so she is allergic to milk. Perhaps you are also allergic to something. It could be food, pollen, or even your makeup. Seeing a doctor would definately be your best bet. If this is not an allergy, your doctor can diagnose this problem properly, and if it is an allergy, your doctor can help you try to figure out what it is, or if you would like, take a blood sample, test it, and tell you what you are allergic to. If this is the same issue my sister has had, it will go away on its own in no less than a day (the less you touch it or put things on it which can irritate your very delicate skin, the quicker it will go away), but for saftey reason, I would go to the doctor regardless! Good luck and take care!
You probably have pink eye. every pink eye is differant, so go to your doctor to get the right eye drops. Belive me, when i got pink eye, i put in some store brand pink-eye "cure" drops and it made them worse. Go to your doctor.1. DO NOT PICK AT IT
2 DO NOT TOUCH YOUR EYE THEN TOCH THE OTHER EYE
3 GO TO YOUR DOCTOR
4 PUT EYE DOPS IN AS PERSCRIBED, NO LESS NO MORE
5 FEEL BETTER : )
Since it's both eyes, it probably has nothing to do with something being in your eyes. It's a lot more likely that you have some sort of infection. You can try the compresses for the swelling and maybe a little saline eyewash if you still think that something's in it, but only do this till you can get to an eyedoctor. It's not very expensive to go to an eye doctor for this sort of thing usually, especially if you have insurance. If you don't want to take anyone on here for their word, call an eye doctor, give them your symptoms, ask them what to do. Most likely they will tell you to come right in. If they happen to schedule an appointment for later in the day, or the next day, consider switching doctors. And if you're still wanting to go to this particular one, make sure to ask what you should be doing in the meantime for your eyes. Take some benadryl too. It won't hurt you if it's not an allergic reaction, as long as you've taken it before and you know how your body reacts to it. If you know your body is ok with it, then take a dose and wait to see if the swelling seems to be affected by it. But still go to see an eye doctor. Some eye doctor's can even tell you if it's an allergy and prescribe something for it...

Can someone help me please?

Answer:
You may have trapped nerve or may have damage
that needs looking at by a doctor, you must also
confide your trouble to our mum now.
Taking lots of pain killers can and will do damage to
internal organs such as the liver so tell your mum about it now
and don't be scared cause it can soon be put right.
When we are in pain we all want the same thing:
STOP THE PAIN!
But, you must realize that we have nerve receptors that tell us we are in pain for a reason:
SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG!
Tell your mom to take you to the doc.

Can Smoking Printer Paper hurt you?

so just for fun me and a friend put Crystal light inside of rolled printer paper and smoked it. so can the printer paper or the crystal light hurt us ( more than smoking already does?)
Answer:
LOLYou and your friend need to seriously find someone with some weed. Or at the very least get some salvia, it's cheap and readily available over ebay.I can't imagine that paper is good for you, but it isn't exactly going to make you drop and start convulsing on the floor either. Paper is around every cigarette and joint and has yet to be the cause of anyone's cancer, it's the plant inside the paper that counts. As for crystal light I have no idea, I have never heard of anyone smoking it. Did it do anything for you? I'm curious. You are talking about the drink mix right?
Come on, what are you gonna do next, spark up some pixie stix? That's just silly.
hahaha what?? don't do it again its not healthy
hmm sounds lemony delicious. i'm sure the crystal light isn't that good, or the paper since it's bleached, but you're probably fine.
lol...omg to funny... Printer Paper huh... well i cant see that it would do you any good thats for sure.. my addvice to you would have to be stop smoking printer paper... omg i cant believe that you asked that question..

Can sleeping under a bright light effect my sleep?

I have this bright light that hangs over my bed to help me read at night. Sometimes I fall asleep reading and the light is left on. I wake up to find myself staring into the light. Is that unhealthy for me?
Answer:
Yes, it potentially could be. Everyone runs by their own circadian clock. Our bodies operate better when we sleep in total darkness. For thousands of years, humans have been awake during the daylight hours and sleep during the dark hours. That's just what our bodies expect and disturbing that cycle could make your body confused. This could cause sleep disturbances, insomnia, sleep apnea, anxiety and a host of other medical problems. There's even been studies about using nightlights for children and the negative effects it has on them.
its okay, but everyone sleeps better if light is off. except if they are affraid of darkness, like me.
Bright light can definitely affect your sleep. Your body knows if there is light coming in to your eyes, even if it's filtered a little by your eyelids. I live in Washington state, and while people think of it as cloudy and rainy around here, we also get only about 8 hours of dark during the longest days of the summer. Just as with the long nights in the winter, the very SHORT ones in the summer upset circadian rhythms. I suggest putting your reading lamp on a timer, so that it will shut off by a certain time. A simple mechanical timer is only about $10 at someplace like Target, and will help you sleep a LOT better :-)
I was a sleep researcher studying melatonin for 7 years.YES, it is unhealthy!! Bright light at night inhibits melatonin, a natural hormone that you secrete at night that helps you sleep and also keeps your circadian rhythms (24hour sleep/wake cycle) in harmony. During the daytime, bright light helps set your circadian rhythm but at night time you should stay in low or moderate lights so that melatonin is not inhibited. The bright light exposure will upset this homeostasis and can cause sleeping problems, attention problems and disrupt other mental capacities.

Can Sleep / Can't Sleep?

Help! I find it very hard for me to stay awake or sleep for more than 5 hours at a time since the past few days. I go to bed at good times at night, but it doesn't do much good because I wake up at 5 in the morning and can't get back to sleep. I feel very tired, but when I lay in bed it somewhat goes away but I can't go back to sleep. But then later in the day I feel very tired so I try to go back to sleep and it helps but when I wake up after a few hours I'm still very tired but can't get back to sleep. What's going on here? Help
Answer:
try improving your sex life. it can allow you to be more relaxed and be more refreshed in the am.

Can slapping your ear (not incredibly hard) cause permanent damage?

I was sitting in my room just a few minutes ago, and I realized something stupidly obvious. I went to slap my head, being the dramatic person that I am, but I managed to hit my right ear instead. Now this ear seems to hear everything at a slightly lower tone/pitch than my left one. My hearing in the right ear is noticably 'flat,' in musical terms (not a full note though, Enya in B-flat still sounds like B-flat, but flatter than normal), and my balance seems a bit off too. Somebody PLEASE tell me that this isn't permanent...What did I do to myself?! T_T
Answer:
You will be fine. You didn't puncture your eardrum, so it's just your inner ear and eardrum getting back to normal.

Can rust be filtered?

The building I'm in has a water tank. Unfortunately, if it gets drained, the new water becomes rusty. I don't know if its from the pipe or the source, I dunno, they say it gets jiggled or something. I also don't know if it's their responsibility to keep it from draining. As much as I want to tell them to do something about it (i did, only once), we all know the problem will come back later eventually. We buy drinking water so that's not much of a problem, but we have a kitchen... we wash our plates no where else. During overtimes, I just had to stay here a week or so. So I take a bath, wash my face, wash my hands, etc... in rusty water. So I'll be suggesting a filtering system or whatever. Is it possible to cleanse water with rust? Would the filtering system get clogged or something or die out earlier than on water that is just filled with other "minerals"?I still will be filing a complaint to the admin. No one knows when it can be solved, so I have to do something for now.
Answer:
If I was you I would worry about more than rust in the water. Take a sample of water and have pros test it.
Rust can be filtered out of water with a water softening system, or a commercial rust filtration system, if it's really bad. There are varying forms of rust in water. It depends on the form of rust. Simple rust from accumulation from sitting in the tank can be filtered out with a very simple home water filter. If you have dissolved or bacterial rust, that takes more aggressive treatment.

Can roller coasters cause scoliosis?

I have scoliosis and have been figuring out how I got it. My mothers side of the family had like 1 case of it, but its still unknown to doctors of how people get it. I rode the 'double loop' at Six flags once with my friend. During the ride my body was smacked against the seat and once I got off my whole back was in pain especially my spine. Right after that incident I got scoliosis about 1 1/2 years later. If it could/possibly be true then I am sueing those baggers. Steel coasters are not fun.
Answer:
I think it's pretty unlikely. It's not easy for your spine to just move, with all the muscles and such attached to it. There is some evidence that scoliosis is hereditary, and there is also evidence that trauma as a child (while you are still growing and developing) can have an influence. Such as, when you are a young child, and you fall HARD on your behind, if you cause trauma such as a pinched disc, it can throw off the alignment of your spine as it grows. But, I really, really doubt that a ride on a coaster gave you scoliosis.
I don't think it can, but I don't know.
no
no. Chances are you've got adolescent or adult scoliosis which started developing. You getting hurt on that roller coaster probably didn't trigger it. You could tell your doctor to see what he/she thinks about the situation. go to http://orthopedics.about.com/cs/scoliosi... to find out more

Can regular physical therapy (not chemotherapy or radiation) cause nausea?

I just started physical therapy for myofasical dysfunction and occipital nerve tinnitus and whenever I use the ice packs or do the recommended stretches, I get so nauseous that I can barely function. Is this normal or should I be calling my PT to find out what the heck is going on?
Answer:
Myofascial dysfunction is somewhat of a garbage can diagnosis and many people are mistakenly labeled with it. Yet, if you do truely have it, PT certainly may make you feel ill after the first couple of treatments as chemical stasis is released and flushed out of the body. What many people have misdiagnosed is a derrangement syndrome which is an altered position of the vertebral joints which usually leads to a disc bulge or herniation in the neck. If this is the case, your stretches should never leave you more nausous or dizzy...in fact, it should have the opposite effect if your moving in the right direction. This is a mechanical type of pain and should have immediate good mechanical results. Increase in symptoms is a sign of moving in the wrong direction.Without knowing you, I cannot tell you whether you are truely a "myofasical pain" person or a "mechanical" disorder such as derrangment syndrome...but either way, inform your PT because he or she may be trying to rule out the very same thing. It may or may not be bad that you are feeling the nausea, but your symptomatic response may help guide the therapist...communication is the key. If you have no relief with the myofascial approach, I suggest getting a good mechanical assessment by a PT trained in the MDT method. You can locate one at: http://www.mckenziemdt.org
You might want to tell your PT anyway, but yes it is very possible. They are dealing with your head right now and you are applying ice to an area that is really close to your vestibulocochlear nerve. IT most certainly can lead to dizziness, nausea, etc., If you are already suffering from tinnitus, that alone can cause nausea.
Yeah, you should call your PT or doctor. It probably has something to do with how close these nerves are to the inner ear, which often affects nausea. The pros can give you better advice.
Most definately call your PT if you are experiencing anything unusual... I know when I was in good health and exercised overly much, I would feel nauseous myself (mostly due to overheating).

Can poison ivy get into your eyes?

my sister received a "blister" in her eye about 1 hour after her boyfriend realized he had poison ivy. How concerned should she be?
Answer:
yes; she should see her doctor
does he think its kinky to rub poison ivy in her eye?
Yes, among other places. This can be serious as the person can have a very serious reaction.
http://www.webmd.com/allergies/tc/poison...
If she actually did get some of the poison ivy resin in her eye it could be quite serious. She should see a doctor. At least call one of the on-call nurse hotlines or see if your local clinic can see her.
Her best bet is to ignore poison ivy itch, and take benedryl immediately.
Use aloe vera or olive oil on the itch.
She should be very concerned if she starts itching and scratching and give in to that monster poison ivy.
Tell her to ignore it, put ice on it.

Can people grow taller by doing certain things?

Answer:
I heard that you can exercise.
No. Your height is determined the instant you are conceived. It's your genes that detemine your height, among other things. Nothing you do will make you taller.
drink milk but remember 90% of ur genes and 10% of the nutrition

Can occupational therapy and accupencture help relieve damage to an arm.?

Answer:
I have used acupuncture for over a year now for pain and relief of tense muscles. I don't know if it can repair damage but it works on the nervous system to stimulate the body to heal itself.

Can numbness go away if nerve is damaged.?

On Sunday the 24th I wreck my dirt bike. It threw me off, and I landed on my left side of my upper butt cheek, and the next day it started becoming numb. I don't if it is nerve damage. I'm only 15 so I don't know nothing about that stuff. Could bruising cause numbness.
Answer:
You didn't do enough damage to have nerve damage.don't worry the numbnes will go away. You may have pinched a nerve in your back, and that would cause numbness. Take ibuprophen, and try to relax a few days. if still bothered go see a doctor.
no
ask a doctor!!!
Some yes. Some No. Especially if its one of the Following.HIV/AIDS - nerve damage
Lead poisoning - Nerve damage
Lyme disease - nerve damage
Have you went to the doctor yet about it?
With nerve damage you never know it's going to come back or not. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. If you just hit it hard you should be ok, just wait it out and possibly see a doctor, because there might be a hairline fracture that is causing it.
Good Luck
I would go see a doctor and make sure you didn't break anything or to make sure a bone or something isn't pushed up against nerve. If it is a damaged nerve there is a chance that it can regrow and the numbness may go away.
NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!...

Can my mom take two hydrocodone/apap 500MG pills.?

she just broke both her arns and her toe and she is in alot of pain. she has taken one a couple hours ago but she says it aint working. would it be safe for her to take two ore would she overdose?
Answer:
well the hydrocodone is just generic vicodin. I am assuming its hydrocodone apap 5/500mg. The smaller number is the amount of vicodin. the 500mg is the amount of acetaminophen or Tylenol. You can have 1000 mg of tylenol every 4-6 hours. so depending on when she took the last pill. if she took it 4 to 6 hours ago then yes she can take two more. If she only took one pill..lets say for example 2 hours ago then she could take one more, not two.
No one should take neds that are prescribed for another.get her to a doctor and let him/her prescribe fof your mom.
She could take another one now but i would not take two this close to the last one. She should take these every four hours and not wait until the pain comes.
I have before, but only if absolutely necessary. ( I have had a lot of surgeries in the past.) It depends on how often she has taken them before. Your body kind of builds a tolerance to them if you take them a lot. If you take too much they sometimes make your stomach a little upset and can cause you to feel itchy. Be careful - too much acetaminophen can cause liver problems.
She should NOT take more than 5, 500 mg Vicodin pills in 12 hours. There is a chance of addiction. She can though take aspirin with the Vicoden. I believe she can even take Motrin too. Don't take any Tylenol as Vicoden is Hydrocodone with Tylenol and she CAN OD on Tylenol.I had a spinal surgery and I was in severe pain for a while and my pain was always stopped with Vicoden.God bless your mom, I will pray for her rapid recovery and lessening of pain.
I take 2 Vicodin at a time all the time as 1 never helps, she can also take advil inbetween with food ofcourse. But do not exceed 4,000 ml of tylenol a day as you can have liver failure with any more then that.
It is likely that it will result in an overdose. A better idea would be to take the hydro then if the pain hasn't subsided to take Motrin 4 hours later. It's a different kind of painkiller and works on different receptors in the brain. The other thing is that if there is a lot of swelling, that can be causing pressure therefore, causing pain. try icing her arms and toe, one at a time for about 10 minutes on each place that will reduce the swelling and hopefully the pain too. Good Luck
That's a lot, especially if she just took one. Try and get her to wait about three hours between pills. 750 mgs is a usual dose of Vicodin, this is the generic version and two 500mgs are a lot to take, especially this close to the first one.
If she's in this much pain maybe call the doctor and he can get her into an ER and get a shot for her, it would be quicker and work better.

Can my girlfriend fly with cracked ribs?

She lives in England, but is moving over here to Indiana, but cracked her ribs in a car accident a few weeks ago. She's healing up well, but I was concerned with the pressure changes on the airplane affecting her breathing or making her injuries worse. Anyone know or had any experience with this? Thanks in advance for the answers
Answer:
With a crack rib, I think she should see a doctor. I understand she is saving money, but her health is more important.
Good luck.
Sorry but I really don't know. Maybe you should call her doctor?
I would think she could just call the docs office that treated her and ask. No need to make a appointment and cost her any money.Or if it was the Er call and ask there.
i broke 3 ribs in a car accident, then flew from n.y to arizona the next day to attend college.a little uncomfortable, but not bad.ask the flight staff if an upgrade or aisle seat is possible,so u dont get wedged between 2 people.also,u can tell them u have an injury when u check in,and they will let u board first, along with other injured/handicapped people and families with babies.this will prevent her from being jostled in the aisles.tell her-go on and fly.the changes in air pressure will bother her ears-not her ribs.my ribs were broken, but i could breathe just fine on the flight.
ide check with the doctor first .i never had experience with this but i did have a passenger on board a week after a major heart operation .
check with the doctor. money is good but life is better
If it doesn't hurt when she flaps her wings she should be fine. Relly I have broken my ribs 4 times, even had one removed to make a new nose. Sneezing or coughing truly suck but if anything pressure would help. They used to give you a velcro girdle to keep pressure on them and to minimize movement but they don't give much of anything these days except the type of satire that I opened with. Happy reunion and GOD Bless.

Can my boyfriend stop taking Cymbalta completely?

My boyfriend has been on Cymbalta for about a month now and its making him crazy! He took it for his back pain and it helped a bunch but he's having severe anxiety problems. He's crying about everything and he doesnt know why. His blood pressure is getting higher and he's waking up all through the night with chills and sweats.
He's very nervousy and shaky now.
A few days ago, he decided he'd had enough so he just stopped taking them. Now, his blood pressure is getting even worse and his doctor cant see him until monday and they wont give him any advice! Please help!
Answer:
he can't stop taking it cold turkey or he will get MUCH worse.
he is going to have to wait to see the doctor until Monday, or if he totally can't stand it, he should to Urgent Care if his blood pressure is really going up.
stopping medication like Cymbalta cold turkey will give him more mood swings, cold sweats, headaches, and can sometimes even cause crazy things like electrical feelings "zings" etc... please tell him to start taking it again until he can get back into the doctors office %26 it will probably start making him feel better fairly quickly.
good luck
you are supposed to taper yourself off those kinds of medicines. but I would cut all salt and soda stuff that raises blood pressure. mostly salt. at least until his appointment
GET HIM TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM PRONTO!
Go directly to the ER. Do not hesitate.
His blood pressure right now is more of an issue than anything else. Either way, his doctor should have seen him on an emergent basis. BTW, never, never stop taking a medication abruptly without consulting your physician first. Also, Cymbalta has may known adverse side effects.Again, ER Now.

Can mepergan be taken a few hours after percocet or do i have to wait longer?

I have a kidney stone and the percocet isn't working very good, so i thought i would try the mepergan.
Answer:
Yes, you can take the Mepergan 3-4 hours after taking the Percocet. I've had 16 kidney stones, so I know what you're going through. Mepergan usually works the best for me, though Percocet is quite effective as well. Drinking lemonade can prevent the stones from forming in the future, as can zinc tablets. Good luck!
Mepergan and Percocet are narcotic pain relievers. Mepergan is stronger then the percocets. Time between doses of percocet is usually 4-6 hours so it would be ok to take a mepergan after 4 hours.Kidney stones are painful. Try not to mix the two narcotics as much as possible. I have intubated patients who took narcotics too close together. They were the lucky ones who were found in time.

Can mental stress induce back pain and trigger flare-ups?

Answer:
Stress and tension is one of the worst of our problems today, with people having money management problems, spousal problems, with the kids, the job.
All these in itself can and will create stress and back problems with tight muscles. This is a job for the chiropractor, he can with his physical prowess help these individuals quickly with weekly rub downs to relieve this stress and muscle spasms.
stress can do alot of things go seea doctor
yes
definitely. i have problems with my lower back, and stress was one of the many causes my chiropractor gave me for flare ups.
Yes! Stress goes straight to my neck and back.
MENTAL STRESS has been linked to MANY physical and physiological problems. If you suffer from too much stress, you need to make plans to alleviate stress or see a doctor to find out what they can do to help.
yea in fact a lot of the time when you have high stress you might feel shooting pain in your muscles high stress cause high tension...Sometimes when my fiance is under high stress he gets knots the size of small baseballs underneath his shoulder blades and in the small of his back a lot of the time rubbing it will make it better along with some anti-inflammatorys. Just be careful that your knots don't turn into something serious like a herniated disk. Especially if you have felt this way before then sometimes the flare up's can be worse than the initial pain...hope this helps and you feel better..Otherwise if you find that you are not getting any better then you might want to see a doctor so he can prescribe either something for your stress or something for you pain

Can men take midol?

I mean what if they have a cramp or are feeling bloated or sumthing?
Answer:
Midol is Acetaminophen 500mg, Pamabrom 25mg, and Pyrilamine Maleate 15mgCramping in men in normally treated by taking calcium (drinking milk) or quinine. Midol won't help.Bloat in men can be treated with Lasix or other diuretic. Midol will provide a *little* relief, but not much. Acetaminophen will help some pains - it's the same thing as Tylenol - but normally, pain is accompanied by inflammation. Tylenol is the only common pain medicine that DOESN'T do anything for inflammation. Tylenol is also relatively dangerous. In the UK, they aren't legally permitted to put more than 12 tablets to a retail package for that reason. On the other hand, most men blanch at the idea of taking Midol, thinking that it will shrink their testicles, or make them watch Bravo, or something like that. Nope. It won't make a man less manly. It simply is a combination drug for symptoms men aren't likely to experience together.
i think midol is basically just tylenol..so yea
Men won't get cramps like that, and maybe they can be bloated... but i know some guys that could use it for mood swings b/c i swear they are worse than girls.

Can masturbation affect the way your children will look like?

i was thinking a little while ago that if you masturbate as a teen and have sex when married that your kids could have disabilities or something.
Answer:
The testicles produce new sperm constantly. What you do with the ones you have now won't affect the ones that get made in the future. In fact not relieving yourself could probably be more detrimental.
No, are you serious?
Oh brother. No. That's ridiculous. If your children have any disabilities, it will have NOTHING to do with you masturbating when you were younger. Masturbating has no effect on your sperm.
No. As a matter of fact masturbation releases sperm, making your body generate new sperm. This is a good thing.
(It can only effect your children if they happen to walk in while you're "knockin' one off"). Masturbation has absolutely nothing to do with development of children or the genetic make-up of sperm, etc.
No. It might be time to read a biology book.
Huh? That's about the most bizarre thing I've ever heard. In all seriousness, there's no evidence proving any link between masturbation and children with disabilities. Somebody's feeding you a bunch of lies man.
Absolutely no connection at all. That sounds like a myth left over from Puritan times or something- "old wives' tale", that sort of thing. Spank away, guilt free, and enjoy. Seriously.
Masturbation does not affect the way your children will look like.

Can masterbation often hurt you in any way like affect you having kids?

Answer:
no it sure cant so masterbate away
No.Masturbation does not harm either sex. However, it can cause a "short fuse" for the gents.
nope. It's very healthy to masturbate.
No but,you better look in your hand if hair starts to grow you better stop it..People will know what you are doing.
It can lower your sperm count for a short time. Masturbating too much can harm you neurologically though. Orgasms release endorphines in your brain, releasing the neurochemical too often makes you dependent on having it in your system and so you become addicted because you need that in your system to feel good. In moderation it is not bad for you, but excessivley it can harm you. Any more than 16 times in a week is borderline excessive.
Other than getting irritated skin, no. If you aren't already, use a lubricant--you'll like it and save yourself from chafing.
It won't affect you %26 your ability to conceive. If ever problems would occur, it would most likely be internal, that is due to genes, hormones, %26 overall body health.

Can just one cigarette get you addicted to them?

I know that cigarettes can get you addicted to them and it's bad for you, but my family smokes them and for some reason, I've been thinking about experiencing with one just to see what it's like, but before I do that, I want to know can just one can get you addicted.
Answer:
Listen to me very carefully. One cigarette you will not be addicted. But,it is the hardest habit to break once you are addicted.I am a smoker of 25years and I know it is not only killing me it is ruining my quality of life. On the other hand I want to warn you that Crack,Cocaine and other drugs are addictive the first time. This is because smoking cigarettes is nasty the first time but after that your body needs the nicotine that's in the cigarettes. But,with other drugs once you see how they make you feel the first time you want to keep doing them. The problem is they never make you feel that way again. And after numerous times of doing them trying to get that feeling it never happens until you hit rock bottom or die.
one puff usually doesn't get you addicted, if you don't like it, stop, after you start smoking it for a little while, your body will get addicted to it, and it'll become hard to put it away, but don't try it, smoking is bad!!
Take it from a smoker, one alone will not addict you. It takes more than that. Be advised all cigarettes are different in strength and taste. If my brand wasn't available any more, I'd HAVE to quit smoking.
One puff off of a cigarette was enough to make me swear off them for life. Plus, it provided my dad with a few minutes of enjoyment.:-).
Go with an unfiltered cigarette or rip the filter off one and smoke it. this way you will most likely get sick and never pick the habit up.
I doubt it. Your body will react to the cigarette very quickly.
Do not get started smoking, it is very harmful. There is something called small cell carcinoma that can develop, the worst of the cancers. If diagnosed the doctors wont even treat or remove because it is terminal and nearly impossible to cure. About addiction, I dont know if one will do it. Best thing, is dont get started.

Can i use nyquill for stomach aches?

i know its for flu and cold but on the back it says you can use it for minor aches and paines.
Answer:
Nyquill is not good for stomach aches. The ingredients in it are going to give you more stomach pain. You would be better off using something like Tums or Maalox for the stomach. These will help stomach pain much faster. If the pain continues for more than a week you should see your medical doctor to find out what is going on. You may have an ulcer.
No, nothing in it will help an upset stomach.
if you take enough nyquill it will knock you out and the sleep will help your stomach ache, but its certainly not recommended for stomach aches.http://mrjjones.net

Can i use hydrocodone 7.5/750 for a headache?

ive had a really bad headache all day and my mom has some 7.5/750 hydrocodones with the imprint "m360" on it and we werent sure if i could take it for my headache or not.so would i be able to take it, or atleast half of it to ease the headache?
Answer:
"We" out here are not doctors or pharmacists, are we?
The only advise is for you to call a 24/7 pharmacy and ask them.
.
Depends on your age and health. The drug is basically Tylenol mixed with another more powerful drug. You shouldn't take other peoples meds but it is probably safe to take half of one if nothing else is available. Advil would be better if you can find it.
Hydrocodone at this strength is prescription drug, and unless it is prescribed to you, you really should not take it. As the other person suggested you could ask your pharmacist, for their advice. Other wise I would not suggest you take it.
There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine %26H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, sweet fruits, milk, rice and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.
If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.Source(s):

First if it's not yours don't take it without permission and yes it would help, but has to be prescribed to you first.
depending on your age and weight as long as your not a kid go for it, it will definitely help

Can I take Vicodin 500mg and Ibuprofen 800mg at the same time?

I got a tooth yanked and the dentist said it was pretty bad and I would have alot of pain which I am. He prescribed me the Vicodin but I have some Ibuprofen from a previous surgery I just had about 2 months ago. The vicodin isn't helping a whole lot so I need something more.
Answer:
Wow, a doctor who doesn't know that Vicodin doesn't come in 500 or 750 mgs, it comes in 5 and 7.5? So taking on and a half would make 7.5, not 750. Yeah, you're a doctor and I'm the queen of England. You don't even use proper grammar. What another answerer said is correct, there is a medication out there called Vicoprophen that combines the two, so yes, it is safe to take.
yes you can
This is a question worth phoning to your dentist or the pharmacy that filled the Rx.I wouldn't combine prescription drugs on the say-so of online strangers.
There is a drug called Vicoprofen that contains Vicoden combined with ibuprofen, so this combination is apparently OK. I know that for acute pain, Vicoden can also be combined with Alleve without causing any risks, because a doctor directed me to take both after receiving surgery.
don't mix prescription drugs with over the counter pain medication. Please consult your physician.
you sure can, but accept the concecuences
Working in a pharmacy helped me realize that many medications have two drugs in them to make up one Medication. Hope that makes sense. If you were only given vicodin then it will be okay to combine it with IBU but start out with only 400 or 600mg to see how your body reacts. The vicodin itself will make you tired. Most doctors now a days will prescribe a medication with IBU or acetaminophen (Tylenol) in it because one helps with pain and one with inflammation. I don't know how old you are but make sure to stay away from alcohol when using vicodin because it has an adverse effect where the alcohol increase the intensity of the vicodin but it also can be to much for your heart.
Well first of all vicodin is not a drug to mess with or over do. It can be addictive and be like cigarettes. I am a doctor and don't perscribe Vicodin unless it's absolutly nessicory. But as for your question goes NO Don't even think about taking both! You can pass out and damage inturnal organs. Your stomacgh will bubble and expand and your pain will increace. Please Don't listen to them other Idiots That have no clue about anything to do with medicine or medical issues. If the pain is unbearable then take 1 and a half pills so it's 750 mg. Ibuprofen is not going to help anything. Hope you feel better!

Can I take tylenol?

I beleive that I have a stomach infection of some sort and I saw on ByeDr.com that you shouldn't take pain pills like advil and ibprofun, but i have a headache and i was wondering if i could take some tylenol?
Answer:
Hello:Yes you can take Tylenol, but please see your doctor about your stomach problems especially if it is a stomach infection. Tylenol is effective but I would still make an appointment with your doctor ASAP,just to get yourself examined and to make sure that everything is okay internally with your tummy! I hope that you start to feel better soon and I am sending some (((GET WELL HUGS)))) ;-)
sure you can take some tylenol.it is the least harsh on your tummy. you could take some IB profen it won't do anything. You will be fine.
Why can't you? :s Of course you can, why else are they made? If you believe they work, anyhow. Some pains I get, do not get fixed by Advils/Tylenol..
Yes, you can, just stick with the minimum dose. Stay clear of aspirin, because it can be hard on the stomach. Also, if it is an infection that is bleeding, aspirin thins the blood.
yes :) but you should see your doctor about the stomach problem :)
Any body that answers this question is wrong in doing so unless they they are medically qualified and are specifically advised of your condition. Ask a health care professional!!
