Breast reduction on NHS?

I am quit small (size 8) but because of my african back ground I have massive boobs (30GG) that is quit and thats partly the reason why I couldnt breast feed my daughters. Its not the sagyness that bothers me the most its the back ache more, I cant sit for long before my shoulders turns forward and my shoulders and back hurt! do you think I could qualify to get them reduced on NHS? its only cos alot of people say people who qualify for them are the people who have lost wieght is this true? thank you all in advance!
Answer:
You may be lucky some health authorities will pay some consider it a cosmetic operation .I THINK LIKE WITH A LOT OF THINGS ON nhs IT IS A POSTCODE LOTTERY.But you sound as if you have a serious medical problem or will have soon .Speak to your GP and get him to refer you . I think you have a more pressing claim for a breast reduction than someone who has lost a few stone and need their boobs perked up. You are in pain and it is interfering with your every day life .If you don't ask you don't get so go for it i am sure it will improve your quality of life .
Yes you will but you will have to wait months for NHS treatment. And you might get a super bug what will rot your tit;;s off.
accept yourself start thinking you are beautiful
see a doctor honey
It sounds as though you would qualify for help on the NHS, but your GP should be able to help. See him/her first.
I hear that getting qualified is a big PITA but it CAN BE DONE!If you get denied, appeal as much as you can.You can ask about others experiences with getting approved on the NHS in the breast reduction support forum here:http://www.breasthealthonline.com...
You can get a breast reduction on the NHS. The best way is to emphasise the fact that they are causing you a lot of back pain. Contrary to popular belief, you should not wait longer than 6 months for an operation.
