Bug bites!!!?

Help me stop the scratching! I have about 30 on my right leg and about 27 on my left. I was out in the garden picking some weeds, and I came in the house with red spots all over my legs. The next day, they turned into bug bites, and they itch terribly! Do you know what bug they could be from? And how do I ease the itching? Oh. The bug is not a mosquito because we dont have them where I live. They are some little bug I guess. Thanks for the help!
Answer:
they are called red bugs, tiny bugs that crawl under your skin and bite you, put nail polish on the bites and you will choke them and kill them.hope this helps : )
try calamine lotion. its inexpensive a little messy looking but if it works for chicken pox im sure it would work for these bites. .some ants bite if you are standing over their nest . i wish i knew where you lived because we have lots of mosquitoes here and now we have the added worry over west nile fever.
Witch hazel helps with the itching. Could be fleas? An anti-histamine can help some, and also you can get a hydrocortisone cream.I have also heard that those little bug bite relief sticks are just regular old household ammonia, so you could try dabbing on some of that with q-tips or cotton balls.Good luck!
Make a paste of baking soda and a tiny drop of water and cover the stings.
