Can i be an EMT and be in college?

I don't know what i want to be yet im barely going to be a junior in high school. But i kinda want to go to med school. but i was wondering that while im in college if i could be and EMT?Also this sounds weird but i kinda want to join the CIA if i decided med school isn't for me, would that help me some how?
Answer:
EMT-B is a one semester class. You could take it at some colleges and even work for an ambulance transport company while you're going to school.
EMT require about 1.5~2 year training. It's pretty much full time thing. You can look up local community %26 technical colleges for EMT programs.CIA recruit very wide range of workers and intelligence officers/analysts. You can look at CIA websites for job openings actually. If you speak fluid Arabic they probably have position for you.
if your state has a class that you can take that doesn't require going to a school like just going after work of something then you could do that. it only takes about three or four months. i took it but i live in Maine. i don't know were you live but you should inquire about if they have that kind of a program.
I'm a EMT in NJ. I know many people that are full time EMT's and that are going to nursing school and paramedic school. The EMT program here is 120 hours. Classes can be found on the state web site. A lot of people become EMT's to start their medical training. Being an EMT can help you in many areas. Just depends on what you want to do in life.
