Don't worry about it. Methadone tablets come in lots of sizes and colors, but the good news for you is that you have to dissolve them and drink the fluid anyway. That's just how you take it, so don't worry about getting the pills down.

It all depends on what pharmacy produces the methadone. I've worked in Chemical Dependency for 33 years and have seen many different varieties of this medication. They have pill cutters that you can use to divide the pill into 2 or 4 pieces if you have difficulty swallowing them. Dont forget to ask your doctor for instructions on how and when to take this med.
