Can excedrin be abused?

ok so im wondering if you can abuse it, if it gets you high. my best friend takes it and i dont know if hes abusing it. but im wondering just ya know, if you can, and what does it do?
Answer:
1. It's a pain reliever - if your friend has taken any controlled substances that reduce pain (Lortab, Oxy, Percoset) it can help with the addiction withdrawl. (The withdrawl makes you feel like your head is in a vice).2. It doesn't get you high, but young adults that experiment with drugs can become addicted to the idea of taking pills. Call him/her a "Pill Jockey" and see how he/she reacts.3. Your friends threshold for pain will be lessened so even a pinch will hurt like hell, causing the "need" for another pill.4. It erodes the stomach lining so eventually your friend will end up in the hospital for ulcers. (Look for signs of stomach pain). Then you'll really know the answer.
Any medical drug can be abused with dangerous side effects. I'm not meaning that effects some drugs like cocaine can give, i mean any effect. The better is to get a medical order unless they are free to buy it everywhere.
Any medication can be abused by not following doctor's orders or the dosage recommended on the package. One danger to any medication is damage to the liver.
If you take to much of it between each dosage that it recomends your friend can OD.
