Can their be symptoms from family deaf?

Answer:
Do you mean can you have symptoms of deafness from a family history of deafness. If you do yes. It is very likely that you could be hard of hearing, or deaf in one ear from a family history of deafness.
If you mean can deafness be passed down from family member to family member the answer is yes. My husband's father is deaf in one ear and so is my husband and his nephew. It skipped his sister's family all together.
There are many forms of genetic problems that have deafness as major symptom. So yes it can be hereditary.
