Can mental stress induce back pain and trigger flare-ups?

Answer:
Stress and tension is one of the worst of our problems today, with people having money management problems, spousal problems, with the kids, the job.
All these in itself can and will create stress and back problems with tight muscles. This is a job for the chiropractor, he can with his physical prowess help these individuals quickly with weekly rub downs to relieve this stress and muscle spasms.
stress can do alot of things go seea doctor
yes
definitely. i have problems with my lower back, and stress was one of the many causes my chiropractor gave me for flare ups.
Yes! Stress goes straight to my neck and back.
MENTAL STRESS has been linked to MANY physical and physiological problems. If you suffer from too much stress, you need to make plans to alleviate stress or see a doctor to find out what they can do to help.
yea in fact a lot of the time when you have high stress you might feel shooting pain in your muscles high stress cause high tension...Sometimes when my fiance is under high stress he gets knots the size of small baseballs underneath his shoulder blades and in the small of his back a lot of the time rubbing it will make it better along with some anti-inflammatorys. Just be careful that your knots don't turn into something serious like a herniated disk. Especially if you have felt this way before then sometimes the flare up's can be worse than the initial pain...hope this helps and you feel better..Otherwise if you find that you are not getting any better then you might want to see a doctor so he can prescribe either something for your stress or something for you pain
